A lot of people in my blogging circle have taken this tag. Just thought that I should do this too. This one has been taken from Sunali.
Crashed a friend’s car?: Never really got the chance to do that.
Stolen a car?: Dear Dearests, was I not a man of principles?
Been in love?: With so many people that I have lost count. Not my fault that every actress in hollywood isn’t the same chic, is it?
Been dumped?: No.
Shoplifted?: Surprisingly not. I was 10, eight years back and my brother and I took some Christmas decoratives from a shop without either telling our Mom or the Shopkeeper. So technically it was a ‘group-shoplifting’ thing. Plus I was a minor.
Been in a fist fight?: Oh yeah. Always liked Mr Bhagat more than Mr Gandhi.
Snuck out of your parent’s house?: Oh all the time. Lived in a boarding school too. Where you jump walls, in a way that has a high chance of getting ten of your bones fractured. So, sneaking out while Mom and Dad are sleeping and younger brother has hundred bucks more in his wallet (or 150 if he was broke or I was feeling benevolent) was a piece of chocolate cake.
Had feelings for someone who didn’t have them back?: Almost each and every of the people who I mentioned in the third question. I also don’t really know if my neighbour’s dog loved me back or not.
Been arrested?: Naah. Though, I know of some student politicians who deliberately went to jail just to become more popular. You ain’t a damn politician till you go to jail right?
Gone on a blind date?: Would love to go to one.
Skipped school?: Are you kidding me? My only regret is that I did not do more of that.
Been on a plane?: Yeah. Things I learnt-(a)Domestic flights run out of Non-Vegetarian food more often than not. (b) Never expect planes to and out of Delhi to be on time during winters. Things I want to learn- (a) Book tickets in advance to save money. (b) Resist the temptation to call IA/AI flight attendants ‘Aunties’ when asking for water.
Seen someone die? No human beings in real life and almost every villain in reel life.
Been to Canada?: As Tania said, why Canada of all places? Why Why Why? Why not Timbuktu or North Pole or Disneyland or even Mars?
Purposely set a part of yourself on fire? Yeah, doing it since I was about 12 or earlier. The first time I did it was to verify that the outer part of a candle flame (or any flame), which is invisible is hotter than the inner part. Couldn’t figure out whether it really was hotter, but definitely did learn that the Zone of Complete combustion exists and it does burn.
Been jet-skiing?: Will definitely do it before I die.
Met someone in person from the Internet? Yeah, long and interesting story but not really bloggable. Hint Hint- It was a cute girl, my age. Blink Blink. :D :D
Taken pain killers?: Yeah, though my pain tolerance is pretty high (Didn’t you read I play with fire ;p) If the question meant
Trying to kill yourself by taking painkillers- Doing so by this method is really gay. Go shoot a bullet up your head or just jump of a building and treat yourself for one last free bungee jump. Get a life at-least before you die.
To get high- There are better ways to take a person high enough that he does fall back.
Flown a kite?: Tried it many times and am pathetic to the last alphabet. The guys who try to teach me eventually end up flying the kite themselves.
Built a sand castle?: Never was good at all this while I was young. When I became a bit older, you would probably have called them ‘Ant-hills’ of gargantuan proportions.
Gone puddle jumping?: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Lived in Bombay for too long not to do that during monsoons. Made sure Mom was not watching though.
Cheated while playing a game?: Isn’t this question just lame?
Been lonely?: Yeah. It is not just the top where it is lonely.
Fallen asleep at work or school/college?: The only class I have not done that would probably be my Physics classes in school. The will of not trying to face my Physics teacher’s wrath was a better stimulant than the sum total of all caffeine ever produced by mankind.
Used a fake ID?: Yeah quite a few times, all long stories to elaborate. Didn’t really use a fake ID. Just used my friend’s ID and I know that people in India do not bother to read your IDs. I wouldn’t be surprised if Osama went out of India on my dad’s passport.
Felt an earthquake? Never. Always pass them off for one of my wild imaginations.
Touched a snake? Never aspired to.
Slept beneath the stars?: Yes, it is not as poetic as it sounds if you sleep with mosquitoes though.
Been robbed? Both the times they have been cell-phones. Technically, they were stolen.
Been misunderstood? The probability of this tends to one if you deal frequently with the female sex. The probability of this is one if you have a girlfriend or are married.
Won a contest?: Quite a few school competitions, though I dunno if they fall under contests. Among major ‘contests’, I once one this Coke contest where I met Srinath (That fast bowler, remember?)
Run a red light/stop sign?: That is like a yes to every Indian who drives a car.
Been suspended from school?: No. The difference between a good bad guy and a bad bad guy is that one never gets caught.
Been in a car accident?: If a Sardarji is driving on the wrong side of the lane, and you are racing with your friend; the friend who is in front of you gives you way (the only way to save his ass, and you think that he is teasing you to push the accelerator- while you do not know that there is a guy coming to you) then the only thing that can happen is Rs 40,000 in car repairs, your upper teeth into your lips and lower teeth out of them, a plastic surgeon sewing up your lips which have inflated so much that you can almost swim in a swimming pool. Oh it is much more fun if your boards maths paper is the same week. Guys pass your driving tests (or just buy them man if you are below eighteen) before you get in an accident. That way at-least you can get the money for the repairs back from him.
Eaten a whole pint of ice cream in one night?: Never got the chance to.
Had déjà vu?: Ya, especially during all my exams.
Danced in the moonlight?: Yeah, not the romantic types though.
Been obsessed with post-it notes? No. I will probably forget where I had pasted them. Do use ‘Stickies’ on my notebook though.
Squished barefoot through the mud? Study in Dubai man!
Been lost?: Literally- Once when I was like 5 or 6 for about half an hour or so. Thank god they have cellphones now and I can read signboards and communicate in language people around me know. Figuratively- All the time.
Been on the opposite side of the country?: No. Maybe some day.
Swum in the ocean?: Yes. Been quite a long time though.
Cried yourself to sleep?: Yes and woke up to cry too.
Played cops and robbers?: Yes. Never was good at it though.
Recently coloured with crayons?: Art is one thing I suck majorly at. Crayons are like Kryptonite to the small amount of sense of well being posses.
Sung karaoke?: I sing so badly, that I myself get sick of it.
Paid for a meal with only coins?: One coin here is Rs 13. So practically eat and live on coins. An average burger is about 7 bucks. You will find coins everywhere in my cupboard.
Done something you told yourself you wouldn’t?: Not not to study to name one.
Made prank phone calls? My brother and I used to call up random numbers in the newspapers and then just talked gibberish. We used to like some numbers more than others and eventually one of the guys called back and my dad picked up. Was a bad day at home, about ten years back.
Caught a snow flake on your tongue? Seen snow but never snow-fall :(
Written a letter to Santa Claus? I knew that he didn’t exist all along. One of the reasons could be that my parents never gave me any presents.
Blown bubbles? Yes. Loved to do that in Juhu
Bonfire on the beach? No, but probably do it this year.
Cheated on a test?: You name it, and I have done it. You get the best rush when you exchange sheets during boards. By the way just reminds me on an incident. A guy I knew, once copied everything word to word for a paper. The only problem was that he also copied the name on of the supplementary sheets.
Gone skinny-dipping in a pool? Never got the chance to do that safely enough.
Phew, that took me more than two hours to complete. Gotta go now, have a paper tomorrow and lots and lots to cram.
Edit: This post has many errors, did not have any inclination to go through it once I was done with it; nor will I have in the near future. Kindly point out sentences which are not comprehensible or bear with them.
